ASSOCIATION HANDICAP TOURNAMENT
(18-19 July 2007)-
Eight players competed, five from Kenilworth, Richard and Margaret Broome from Stourbridge CC and Brian Gilbert from Wanaka CC New Zealand.
At the end of the first days play, Frank and Margaret had two wins from two matches. Thursday’s morning Margaret had maintained her 100% record but Adrian, Brian and Frank all had two wins In the afternoon, Adrian was drawn against Margaret and Brian played Frank.
Victories for Adrian and Brian left three players with three wins each with Adrian winning the tournament by net hoops run.
Congratulations to Adrian on his first victory at the club, thanks to John Handy for managing the tournament and to Peter Dennis and the team for the excellent condition of the lawns.
