First Visit?
If this is your first visit to the "new-look" Kenilworth Lawn Tennis & Squash Club (KLT&SC) website, then this page is designed specially to introduce you to its contents and help you find your way around.
The website has two main purposes:
- To give prospective members information about the Club, its sports and social activities, and details of contact details, membership options and how to join.
- To keep existing members up to date with all that is happening at the Club.
To meet these two objectives, the website is regularly updated with the latest news, press releases and a calendar of upcoming events, as well as holding a store of background information on the Club, its history, contact details, membership information, downloadable application forms etc
Contents
There are individual sections on the website for each of the four sports that take place at the club. Despite its name, the Club has sections for Racketball and Croquet as well as Tennis and Squash. These can be reached from the menu at the top left of each page. Additional menu options specific to each sport are then available within each section. This information can include coaching information, rules and so on, or links to external websites with information relevant to the sport.
Latest news and press releases will keep you up to date with what’s been going on. These can be reached via the links in the "Latest News" box which appears at the top right of the main pages. When you are in an individual sports section, the latest news items refer only to that sport.
The main menu bar across the top of every page gives access to other key information in the website.
The calendar of events at the Club, both sporting and social, is essential for keeping in touch with all upcoming events. This is reached via the "What’s On" option on the main menu bar. This page also has links to more details of featured up-coming events.
This main menu bar also gives access to a short history of the Club via the "About us" option, and essential details on how to get in touch with the Club and key members via the "Contact us" option.
If you get lost while browsing, then the "Site Map" option is available on the main menu for every page. This gives "one-click" direct access to every page on the website. It’s difficult to get lost, though, because a "breadcrumb" trail in the top left shows where the page you are viewing sits on the website, and this has links to help you retrace your steps or move through the levels of the website.
The photo galleries are a great and entertaining way to see what has been going on at the Club. These are accessed via the additional menu options in each sports section.
We hope that all Club members will become regular visitors to the website. You can sign up to receive an e-mail every time the website is updated. The "What’s New" page keeps track of all the updates so you can see what’s changed since your last visit.
The website sets out both to inform and to entertain. We hope you enjoy your visit.
